As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to snowball, more and more events, gathering places and travel restrictions are coming into play and slowly but surely Perth along with the rest of the country is “locking down”, in a bid to curb the spread and beat the spread of this virus.
The Fremantle Markets, being my main outlet, is closing as of this weekend (from 27th March). The closure is indefinite, and at this this stage may well be 4 – 6 months.
Likewise, planned casual markets I normally attend – Perth Makers Market at Heathcote and 3in1 Markets at Claremont Showgrounds have been cancelled or postponed. Also, the Guildford Village Potters have closed their doors to the public til the end of April, although this is likely to be longer.
In the meantime, and on a positive note, I will have some good creative and production time! Now is a great time to contact me for special orders!
Please keep an eye on this site and on the ISA’s IGLOO POTTERY facebook page for updates of life in the workshop in the coming weeks.
While we all get our heads around this, please stay safe and healthy.
I’ll be at the Perth Maker’s Market at the Heathcote Cultural Precinct this coming Sunday 23rd February 2020! The Market is held in & around the grounds of beautiful, beautiful Heathcote – I’ll be on the verandah near the kiosk which overlooks both the river and playground.
Hours are 9.30am to 3.30am. Parking is in the “paddock” below for a gold coin to Rotary. ACROD bays only are available within the grounds on Market Day.
Find all your Treasured Craft Creations, maybe an antique, collectable or even a little vintage at the 3 in 1 Market at Claremont Showgrounds this coming weekend – Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th November, 9.30am to 4.30pm both days.
Well it’s been a while! But I’ll be back at Fremantle Markets these coming 2 weekends 30th August to 1st September, and 6th to 8th September.
What have I been up to….well, a few pottery workshops in Williams which have been loads of fun! A little bit of pit-style firing as per these pics….and lets not forget, getting ready for the City of Melville Open Studios and Exhibition Trail coming up on the 14th & 15th September. for more information visit: www.melvillecity.com.au/openstudios
This Sunday 19th May is the last Perth Makers Market before we go into hibernation for Winter! So join us in the beautiful grounds of the Heathcote Cultural Precinct, Duncraig Road, Applecross and enjoy a fun day out!
You’ll find Isa’s Igloo along a verandah (very near to Devonshire Teas!) on the playground side over the buildings, overlooking the river!
