Join us for the Melville Open Studios this coming weekend Saturday 4th and 5th May, 10am to 4pm. A great opportunity to meet local artists and makers and enjoy a fun day out.
The 2 hour guided bus tours are a new feature this year and at $5/person, are a worry free way of making your way around. Bookings and information is also available at the official website www.melvilleopenstudios.com.

We are trading at Fremantle Markets right up until Christmas Eve – Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th – 9am to 6pm. Then there is an extended lot of trading starting Wednesday 27th December right through to New Years Day!!!
The “pointy end” of the year is fast approaching!!!
Isa’s Igloo has maintained our presence at Fremantle Markets, in conjunction with fellow potter Judy Nastov – and although our styles and products are quite different, our work seems very complementary to each other.
I haven’t had Isa’s Igloo out and about much in 2023 but I will be attending the Perth Makers Market at Heathcote on Sunday 18th December with some very new pieces becoming available then.
For the moment, I ask that you bare with me while a necessary change in Web Hosting Supplier is working my very non-techno head overtime and a few little glitches are being discovered with this site, which I am currently sorting out.
We have been so, so lucky in Western Australia! Life has pretty much carried on as normal, and only now are we experiencing our first true “lockdown” since March last year! At this stage the lockdown finishes 6pm Friday 5th February 2021….fingers crossed that all goes to plan!
On that note however…Fremantle Markets will be CLOSED on Friday 5th February (with the exception of the Fruit and Vege section which will trade only between 9am to 4pm).
The general market area (the entire market) will re-open on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th normal hours 9am to 6pm.
In the meantime, and on a positive note…. I have 5 days of uninterrupted creative time…. !!
The City of Melville Open Studios Trail kicks off this Saturday for 2 weekends. A great opportunity to support local artists, buy original artworks and enjoy the opportunity to explore and discover the various wonders and hidden treasures within the City of Melville!
